On His Will

It is a joy to do God’s will.  Psalm 40:8

We must be taught God’s will.  Psalm 143:10

We should seek His will in everything we do, and He will show us what to do.  Proverbs 3:6

Jesus prayed that God’s will be done on earth, just like it is in heaven, so God wants his will to be followed, but it often isn’t on earth.  Matthew 6:10

Only those who do God’s will go to Heaven.  Mathew 7:21

If you do the will of God, you are Jesus’ mother, brother, and sister.  Matthew 12:50

It is not God’s will that even one child should perish.  Matthew 18:14

Jesus wanted God’s will to be done, and not his own.  He asked for suffering to be taken away, but chose and submitted to God’s will.  Matthew 26:39

Our actions are justified when we do God’s will and not our own.  John 5:30

Jesus came down from heaven to do God’s will, not his own.  When you go here or there, go to do God’s will, not your own.  John 6:38

It is his will that we be thankful to God, always be joyful, and never stop praying.  1 Thessalonians 5:16-18

It is God’s will for us to be made holy by the sacrifice of Jesus’ body, once and forever.  Hebrews 10:10

Paul prayed that we might be equipped with all we need to do God’s will.  Hebrews 13:21

If you suffer physically for Christ, you’ve finished with sin and you’ll spend your life anxious to do God’s will rather than wasting your life chasing your own will.  1 Peter 4:2
